Solid rock formations stop underpowered rigs and dull tooling dead in their tracks. The key is matching the right rock bit and mud program to the formation.
Tooling Selection
We carry a range of tri-cone and PDC bits tailored to compressive strength. A proper bent housing keeps the pilot bore on grade through hard seams.
Mud Program
Bentonite viscosity and flow rate matter most in rock — too thin and cuttings settle, too thick and you risk sticking the drill string. Our fluid engineers dial it in per formation.
